How to install
You can download this file to your desktop PC, or you can download it directly to your Treo 700w smartphone.
- This software must be installed from a desktop PC.
- Download: PicselPDFViewer_v1.1.1.zip (1.0 MB Zip file)
- Double-click the downloaded file to decompress it. Your computer will unzip the file to a folder containing several individual files.
The decompressed file will be named Picselifv_Installer.exe.
- Connect your smartphone to your desktop PC.
- Double-click the file Picselifv_Installer.exe.
- Follow the onscreen directions to install.
Installation of the Audio Patch Update is complete.
FAQ and troubleshooting
Navigating through a PDF document in Picsel File Viewer
If you're having trouble navigating through a PDF document in the Picsel File Viewer program on your Windows Mobile smartphone, don't give up. The navigation commands don't exist in the menu items. You can use your stylus or the 5-way navigator to scroll, move to the next page, and zoom in and out. Keep reading to learn how!
Using the stylus, you can...
- Scroll the current page by stroking your pen over the screen like moving a sheet of paper.
- Move to the next or previous page of the document by drawing a stroke horizontally across the bottom of the screen (just above the menu labels), like turning the page of a book.
- Zoom in or out to any size by tapping the screen then immediately touching it again in the same place and stroking your pen up or down.
You can also use the 5-way navigator to pan, zoom and page through the document. Picsel Viewer lets you view documents in two modes: pan and zoom. When you are in pan mode, the navigation keys let you pan up, down, left and right. When you are in zoom mode, the navigation keys let you zoom in or out by pressing the up and down keys, and move to the previous or next pages by pressing the left and right keys. Press the center button in the 5-way navigator to switch between zoom and pan modes.
Viewing PDF email attachments with Picsel PDF Viewer for Windows Mobile
When you receive a PDF attachment, it's easy to view it on your smartphone. Here's how:
- First, make sure that Picsel PDF Viewer is installed on your smartphone
- In the Messaging application, open the email message that contains the PDF attachment.
- Tap on the PDF attachment. You may see a message that says "Attachments will be downloaded next time you connect and receive e-mail."
- Sync your smartphone.
- In the email message, notice that the icon for the PDF attachment has changed. Tap on the attachment again.
- Picsel PDF Viewer will open automatically the file.

If you're encountering ringtones that play the vibrate indicator for longer than usual when using Picsel File Viewer, we suggest you uninstall the Picsel software as a temporary solution. We are currently working on addressing this issue.
To uninstall the Picsel software from your smartphone, follow these steps:
- Select the Start
on your Treo smartphone
- Select Settings from the menu.
- Select the System tab, and tap the Remove Programs icon.
- Find Picsel File Viewer under "Programs in storage memory:" and select it.
- Select the Remove button, and tap Yes in the Remove Program dialog box.
The Picsel File Viewer program is now uninstalled from your smartphone.
